GEORGE TOWN, January 21 – The rare lunar eclipse known as a Super Blood Wolf Moon which happen on Monday night had began edging into Earth’s shadow tonight and became completely darkened at 11:41 p.m. EST (0441 GMT). The red color is caused by Rayleigh scattering of sunlight through the Earth’s atmosphere, the same effect that causes sunsets to appear red. (PN Images/JohnShen Lee)
